Islamic University

This Privacy Policy describes what personal data the Islamic University collects, the purposes for which it is processed, and what rights the applicant or user has.

By filling out the applicant form and submitting your data, you consent to the processing of personal data in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection”. The data may be processed by the owners of the information database and the Islamic University.

• - Education information and documents required for admission;
• - Copies of official documents (passport/residence permit, certificates, references);
• - Information you provide in the “Additional information” field.

• - registration of the applicant’s application;
• - organization of the admission and study process;

• - maintenance of educational documentation in accordance with legislation;

Processing is carried out on the basis of your voluntary consent, as well as within the legitimate interests of the university and the requirements of Ukrainian legislation in the field of education.

Personal data is stored according to the specified purposes for the period necessary for admission and study, or in accordance with legal requirements. After the retention period ends, the data may be deleted or anonymized.

The University does not transfer personal data to third parties except when:

• - necessary for fulfilling educational requirements;
• - requested by state authorities within their legal powers.

You have the right to:

• - know the purpose and scope of the processing of your data;

• - request restriction or termination of processing;
• - withdraw consent (which may affect the possibility of admission);
• - file a complaint with the University or authorized authorities.

9. Changes to the policy

The University may update this Policy. The current version is published on the website.

Admission to the Islamic University is carried out based on the review of submitted documents and an interview/exam with the admission committee.

The admission committee has the right to make decisions regarding the admission of applicants unilaterally, taking into account the internal requirements of the university, previous academic results, recommendations, and other criteria.

The submission of an electronic application and a package of documents is informative in nature, through which the applicant expresses interest in studying and does not guarantee automatic admission. The committee’s decision is final and may only be changed in cases предусмотренных внутренними нормативными актами университета.
